I clocked in to Homebase. Then started on Project Inception-Phase 4 where I loaded Windows10 VM in VirtualBox. Then we had breakout sessions for the monthly check-in with the counselors. We got halfway through the network presentation and used the command prompt to see our own ip address and subnet mask. We explored the binary system used by the CIDR.
What I did Today
We continue with the project inception. I installed Windows 10 in my Virt-Manager. We started learning about Networking, and I’m excited to relearn everything I learned in the past, but I can’t remember anymore. We were not able to complete the slides due to time, so we will continue tomorrow.
What I Did Today
Today was great! I set up a ZOOM meeting. Typing practice as usual. I also worked on my second elective assignment.
What I Did Today
Today, I had my check-in with Devin and Carrie, and got some great ideas from them. I polished my first elective by fixing the formatting and using wrapping. I finished my second elective, but I want to make it look a bit nicer tomorrow. Then we joined a super cool Zoom meeting, learning how to schedule them.
What I Did Today 3-11-2026
My focus for today was a continuation of my training profile, however, we also practiced a session of creating our own Zoom meetings.
What I did today
Today I continued to work on Project Inception, and we learned about networking. I also checked in with Devin about the course.
What I Did Today
Today at CTP, I worked on posting job listings for the website. I found a variety of opportunities in several different locations that participants may be interested in applying for. I continue to improve my research skills when looking for job openings and have become more confident in how I format and post the listings. I also reached out to Carrie for additional guidance on IT-related job postings so I could better understand what to look for when researching opportunities for participants interested in the IT field. Overall, it was a productive day, and I’m pleased with the progress I’m making in strengthening my research and job-posting skills.
