Today we worked on a new Sheets project to enter data about Girl Scout cookie sales. We had to indicate the amount of boxes each person bought and how much they spent, using formulas to calculate totals. We then had to make modifications to the data to have the totals updated automatically. We also got to decide how our data should be formatting which gave me some freedom to be creative with the layout. I think I wasn’t careful enough when using the autofill feature to make sure Sheets correctly extended my formulas, so I had to go back and fix some things near the end. I feel pretty confident I got the right totals by the end, and it was good practice for actual data entry.

I worked with Excel spread sheet. I got more in depth with spread sheets. I’m still figuring things out however I feel like the important aspects are clicking. I really wasn’t able to use a spreadsheet before taking part in this course. I’m hoping to learn more and retain the learned knowledge.

I had a great learning spread sheets. I think I’ve finally got the sums and multiplying on the columns.

Hello. Today our class worked on creating a Google Spreadsheet. I learned things I did not know like how to use wrapping and merging cells. I still wish I could work faster.

Worked with Pro and did a sheets exercise.

Today I started with job postings for the students, then moved on to the Emergency Food & Grocery project. I added listings for Trinity and Siskiyou counties, and then met with Carrie and received a new project to work on! I’ll miss the Food Bank project, but I’m happy with the work I did on it!

Today I worked on a spreadsheet and did data entry all day.
