What I did Today

Yesterday I hit my head pretty hard, so I barely slept and ended up oversleeping this morning. My head is still sore and I felt really slow all day, but I still showed up and pushed through. I only made it to number 79 on the email list today, and even though I feel like I could’ve done better, I’m proud that I kept going and got my work done anyway.

One small win today was hitting a new typing high score of 42 WPM during practice, which felt really good. I’ve only got five more days left, so I’m trying hard not to miss any time. Honestly, I probably should’ve called in to rest, but I really want to get my hours in and finish strong without taking days off.

I also had a little extra time today, so I shared a survey link in the social media chat for a fellow CTP graduate to help support their project.

And thankfully, tomorrow is Friday — the weekend is finally almost here.

Little cultural fact of the day: in South Korea, May 8th is celebrated as Parents’ Day, which combines both Mother’s Day and Father’s Day into one holiday.
