What I Did Today

Another Monday, and this time we are in Month 3. I had completed my Percipio Skillsoft on Friday on Agile methodology called Agile For All. There’s a series of these courses on Skillsoft and so I will see about maybe doing another one in the series.

For classwork, we introduced the PRO course to new students and we were in combined class with CTT. We took a quiz on the orientation presentation. Then, we had an assignment on Meeting Deadlines, where we e-mailed the instructor with our 3 go-to reminder methods for turning everything in on time. Over the course of 2 months, I have had plenty of practice adding things to my calendar or planner.

Next, we did a formatting exercise that was very similar to the exercise on Page Numbers, Section Breaks, and Table of Contents that we did for BerkMart last month. Some of the sample instructions left something to be desired, and choosing the correct headings and reinserting the table of contents took multiple attempts.

Finally, for the last hour of class, we worked on sample e-mail letters that contained formatting errors that needed to be corrected. It had been awhile since I looked at official guidance on Letterhead or Memorandum format, but I learned a little bit how to make these sample documents look as neat as could be after making the edits.
