Administrative Assistant Apex Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine San Carlos, CA Full-Time

Apex Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine is seeking a reliable and experienced Administrative Assistant to support its San Carlos team. This role requires strong administrative and computer skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical office while still providing attentive, personalized care to patients.

  • Greet and assist new and returning patients
  • Create and manage patient charts
  • Help patients complete required paperwork
  • Handle insurance billing, verification, and workers’ compensation
  • Accept co-pays and process payments
  • Answer phones and schedule appointments
  • Perform filing and general clerical duties

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a medical office setting required
  • At least 1 year of administrative/receptionist experience preferred
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, organized, and able to balance efficiency with compassionate patient interaction.
