Administrative Assistant Touro University Vallejo, CA Part-Time

The Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive support to the Radiologic Technology Program, assisting leadership, faculty, clinical coordinators, and students in a fast-paced academic and clinical environment. This role helps ensure smooth daily operations, coordination of academic and clinical activities, and effective communication across the program.

  • rovide administrative support to the Program Director, faculty, and Clinical Coordinators
  • Coordinate admissions interviews, track results, and communicate with incoming students
  • Assist with onboarding of new employees and faculty scheduling/tracking
  • Organize meetings, maintain records, and support committees and program events
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for students and visitors
  • Maintain confidential student records in compliance with policies (FERPA)
  • Support exam coordination, proctoring, and student accommodations
  • Assist with clinical site coordination, documentation, and compliance tracking
  • Manage program calendars, events, and ceremonies (orientation, commencement, etc.)
  • Handle purchasing, reimbursements, inventory, and service requests
  • Maintain program webpages and communication platforms

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Relevant administrative experience (preferred)
  • Typing speed of 50 WPM and proficiency with standard office equipment
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • Experience with communication tools (Outlook, Zoom, phone systems)
  • Ability to learn academic systems (e.g., Canvas, Banner)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
