Today we practiced answering calls, placing calls on hold, and transferring phone calls in a professional setting. Additionally, I practiced touch typing

I started with 15 minutes of typing practice, and then added job listings to the CTP website for the rest of the first hour. In hours two and three I searched for externships for CTT graduates.

Today we worked on basic phone skills and practiced calls with eachother. I did very well on scenarios 1-3, but I totally messed up 4 and 5. It was good learning experience because I learned to keep both phone windows open, not just one.

Today, I completed touch typing tests and took the Independent Challenge, scoring a 19 — my highest score yet! I also achieved my fastest typing speed of 60 words per minute. Overall, today has been an amazing day! :))

Today I did the practice calls. It was a lot of fun reading from the script and helping out. I’m glad there was some practice.

Today in class we practiced typing and did some phone systems exercises. We also discussed our performance on the individual assessment from yesterday. Pretty quiet day overall.

Today, I posted job listings on the CTP website, focusing on positions for Administrative Assistants, Customer Service Representatives, and IT roles. I also continued work on the Business Outreach project. Carrie helped me better understand the types of emails I should be looking for with the companies on our project list. We had a challenging test today that was really based on what we had been taught . The Google Sheet Part was a real challenge for me. We will discuss it with our instructors individually tomorrow.

Practiced typing with a top score of 35 WPM. Next, we troubleshooted a speaker problem with my MicroSIP. Finally, I worked on the independent challenge series.

Today I spent the day on the independent challenge, and afterwards I spent some time working on Skillsoft.
