The Customer Service Representative serves as the entry-level role in the series, focused on delivering superior service to the citizens and customers of the City of Santa Clara. Responsibilities include answering calls, resolving customer inquiries, processing payments, handling business licenses, and supporting billing, account adjustments, collections, and financial assistance programs for utility customers. This position emphasizes professionalism, accuracy, and problem-solving while assisting with a variety of customer account and billing issues. Unlike the Senior Customer Service Representative, this role requires less technical expertise and independent judgment.

8 hour shifts, with evenings as needed.

Listed pay is: $80,547 to $103,113.12 a year.
