What I Did Today

We always begin with typing practice, and it has been encouraging to see my progress. My typing speed and accuracy continue to improve, especially as I adjust to my new keyboard. Marc reviewed the Flyer Research Assignment with us, which is due on Thursday. We also practiced the POS Training and Square Online Store script with Mike and worked on the Cash Out and Cash Counting Game, and completed our WordPress blog activities.

What I Did Today

Today, I worked on my bio for our Sunshine Express company. It was easy to login this time, because last time there was a lot of confusion on what the password was for BerkMart. I wrote a brief introduction of myself, such as what my “role” was and sharing what I do when I am working and not. I then practiced my customer service skills with my co-workers through ordering items from our market and I did better this time, though it was still my second time doing it. I then worked with one of my co-workers on the wage assignment and I completed it shortly after. I had to calculated the wages and increased them year by year. Then I played a cash out game counting money and looked at some Percipio courses to work on in the future and thought about completing a certificate on there.

What I Did Today

Today, Carrie began by reviewing how to effectively use the STAR method for interviews. We practiced answering five behavioral questions. Next, we worked on the Professional Documents Lab, where I focused on improving my cover letter and resume. I feel like both are getting stronger. Finally, we worked on interview questions, our professional assessment, and our WordPress blog.
