Clocked into Homestead. I was shown how to merge tickets and was instructed to use only 1 ticket per week/topic. Next week when we work on Networking I will create a new ticket. I completed the pfSense ticket and tested pfSense. I am having trouble loading pfSense from the PCs-web browser, but I was able to set the interface IP address (option 2 in pfSense) to 10.11.12.12/24. Debian and Bodhi automatically updated and I was able to browse the web but I can’t confirm if they are using the new LAN IP address.
I logged in to Homebase. I presented my tech articles and continued working on project inception. We continued with Networking and things are begining to get very ‘techy’ lol. Leaving off at phase 4, setting up IP addresses for interfaces.
Today I presented my tech article and had a discussion about it. Then, I continued to work on Project Inception.
This was elective week. I completed 2 electives: the art spreadsheet and the catering spreadsheet. I’m getting better and faster with spreadsheets. On Wednesday, I did my check-in meeting, which was very helpful in clarifying my career goals. Today, since I already completed 2 electives, I completed my Skillsoft and wrote the email to auto-send on Monday.
I’m still working on my profile elective, and at this point, approximately 65% of it is complete.
Today I worked on my typing. I turned in my homework assignment. I completed an elective. I also worked on a Skillsoft course.
I typed at the beginning of our class today.
I work on my “Workplace Conflict- Accountability” Assignment today.
I also worked more on the “Elective” Assignment.
I clocked in to Homebase. Then started on Project Inception-Phase 4 where I loaded Windows10 VM in VirtualBox. Then we had breakout sessions for the monthly check-in with the counselors. We got halfway through the network presentation and used the command prompt to see our own ip address and subnet mask. We explored the binary system used by the CIDR.
We continue with the project inception. I installed Windows 10 in my Virt-Manager. We started learning about Networking, and I’m excited to relearn everything I learned in the past, but I can’t remember anymore. We were not able to complete the slides due to time, so we will continue tomorrow.
