First, I talked and listened to the class about there personal goals, there hobbies, etc. Second, I worked on my job search stuff. Third, I answered questions about my employment. Last, I did my Pro Self Checklist and Word Press.

Today I wrote a rough draft Cover Letter and worked on Interview Questions.

This week I had mock interviews and worked on my interview questions and answers and my cover letter template. I had some interview and networking practice in class as well. I also organized all of my class files on my desktop and Drive according to the class requirements, practiced cashiering with my classmates, and made a flyer for PRO as an in-class assignment.

Today, we started off with a presentation on professional networking before doing an activity where we talked about things we had in common with one another with a few groups at a time. I discovered that I had some commonalities with my fellow trainees. On the second hour, we did professional docs where I did some edits to my cover letter and interview questions. On the final hour, we did mock interview practice and there were some fun questions. I also did my employment services intake today.

Today we continued with employment services, going over the class schedule and a professional networking slideshow. We also engaged in a professional networking activity where we paired up and tried to find common connections between us. We worked on our professional documents throughout class, as I focused my attention on the interview questions, the cover letter and building up my LinkedIn profile. Near the end of the session, we did some interview practice and wrapped up for the day with a self-assessment.
