For the first hour I worked on job listings where I focused on Customer Service Representative openings in the Sacramento area. I posted five listings to the CTP website.
Jose asked me to work on adding a couple more slides and I did some research, but I wasn’t able to get with him to get a better description of what he needs. I went on to work in Percipio for a couple of hours.
The rest of the day I spent on job listings again. This time I focused on Customer Service job listings in the Redding area.
In the first hour, I did 15 minutes typing practice and then added some job listings to the CTP website. In hours 2 and 3 I worked on the emergency funds list for Solano County.
We started the day off with typing practice. Then we setted up our professional greeting message on our zip phone. Then we continue with the Phone scripts. we broke into groups of three to in act scenario 4 and 5. we took turns being the caller the employee and the manager.
Today all I did was practice with others doing roleplay for customer service through the phone. I started as an employee, then rotated with the others in my group to be the caller and the manager. We also set up our voicemail for the roleplay as well, which was pretty simple. I’m reminded now and again to always have a script when recording lines for myself in my voicemail as coming up with it on the spot can be pretty difficult without messing up my own words. Outside of all that, it was a pretty easy day.
What I did today…
I kinda feel that today was a waste of time actually. I mean, yes, we set up voicemail, but that literally took an hour. Kinda crazy to take that long.
BTW…in scenario 5, a greeting needs to be added and it seems weird that the B, A, C order on top. Maybe that could be rearranged to make more sense.
I did a lot of waiting today. I’m also disappointed that I did not find out how I did in the Independent Challenge.
We started with 15 minutes of typing practice where i did 2 minutes per round straight typing. Then went on to make voicemails for our VOIP phones and got clarity on if they were good. Last part of the day was the WOW phone scripts tri-way #4 & #5 and that was it. Although wish we could incorporate some data processing into the calls like they do at AT&T.
