I changed the topic for my Google Slide presentation so I had to delete the old slides and start with new ones. I spent the class working on my presentation. Just have to add transitions and animations tomorrow but I hope I finished by lab time. Did some research and learn new things about Tourette Syndrome. It was not easy finding pictures to put on the slides. Class was stressful and a lot of work today.
June 11
I never feel like I have anything to say when I do a blog post, but I guess well I worked on, I finished a lot of stuff. I finished my accountability assignment. I finished my elective assignment and I started my Percipio course.
What I did toda
I worked on the Elective project – Art Museum list on Google Sheet, and accountability work. I had questions how to make changes to the data I copied and pasted onto the sheet. I learned a few new ways to clear format. I also try to work on Percipio program as well, but it was difficult to absorb the information. I may try different topics.
6/11/25
After taking a typing test, which i did outstanding in btw, we moved on to the elective assignment we started yesterday. I was able to turn it in. Yippee.
I went over the homework to see if i had any questions.
What I did Today?
Today we did practice typing, and then we started to do our elective assignments. I am doing my Core portfolio project since I’m in my third month. I had questions about the Word Art because, in the background, even though I have my Word Art title inserted, there was still a showing of the title only in the background. I wanted to get rid of the title only so that it would not disrupt my thinking. I got quite far in my Core portfolio, but I need to color it and improve other things.
What i did today…
Started class off with typing skills tests. For a majority of the remainder of the class duration, i worked on my portfolio project/slideshow.
What I Did Today
Today I researched administrative jobs and posted them on the skill center. I called my DOR counselor and we collaborated on writing a letter. I worked on the networks slides presentation the rest of the day.
What I did today
After our usual typing practice, we spent the entire class working on our elective assignment. I think Marc is incredibly patient when answering questions and responds to complaints/concerns with genuine empathy.
What I Did Today
Today I spent the first hour looking at job listings. Like yesterday, I looked at Zip Recruiter exclusively focusing on Customer Service positions in the East Bay. Again, and maybe it’s because I’m not used to Zip Recruiter’s layout, I didn’t come across a whole lot of jobs that meet the criteria I’m looking for. But I will keep at it tomorrow.
I moved on to the Emergency Food & Grocery List by County where I am taking the data from Google Sheets and transferring it the Google Doc. Abdul was adding a few more to the Google Sheet so I took a pause while he finished adding. During the pause, I participated in Mock Interviews for the CTT group where I was the interviewer instead of the interviewee. I enjoyed it.
I got back to the Food & Grocery list and added the new ones from Abdul. There was only a few. When I get back to it tomorrow, I’ll be starting with San Bernadino County and hope to finish the project by the end of the day tomorrow.
