Today was my 2nd day back to the AWEX program. My 1st hour was job searching and posting jobs to the CTP website. I am struggling to find more food banks for the list, as it might be close to complete for the time being.
What I did today
I started my third month of training today. First day of the new month so there was an orientation for the new student. Started working on the Google Slides project. Got to work hard this month and push through.

Well…I thank God for Marc who helped my with my computer.
I took an orientation test after listening to more orientation.
Watched slide presentation and have been working on mine. I get so stressed out, it’s not even a joke. I don’t know if i can do what is required of me.

This full-time position involves helping customers, and giving product recommendations. As you gain more experience, you will teach and mentor coworkers on said duties. There are no experience requirements. The pay is $900.00 – $1,400.00 per week.
In-person: Casino Gaming Associate / Customer Service (Pacheco, CA)

In this full-time position, you’ll be stationed at table games at a casino. Your role is to oversee games, ensuring that all rules are adhered to. You need to be at least 21, and receive and maintain a license from the Bureau of Gambling Control. The pay range is
$22.00 – $31.00 Hourly, and the job has many benefits, like a 401k.
What I Did Today
Today was my 1st day back to the AWEX program since I finished my 1st round. In my second round today, I started by doing the task that I normally did when I was here. My 1st hour was job searching and posting jobs to the CTP website. My 2nd hour was to add more entries to CTP’s food bank list. The 3rd hour was to add entries to CTP’s DEI company list.
In-person: Caregiver / Home Health Aide (San Leandro, CA)

In this part-time position, you will assist clients with meal preparation, hygiene, companionship, house cleaning, transportation, and other duties. No experience is required. The pay is $17.76.
In-person: Dental Assistant (Dublin, CA)

This full-time position involves supporting dental procedures, which includes cleaning tools, and giving patients post-treatment instructions. You would also take phone calls, and check patients in and out. No experience is required. The pay range is $18 – $22.
In-person: Weekend Receptionist (PM) (Hayward, CA)

In this part-time position, you will manage phone calls while greeting visitors, answering inquiries. Skill sets from similar past roles are a preferred. Being bilingual is a plus. The pay range is $19 – $22 per hour, while working 8 to 10 hours a week.
