Today I presented my weekly tech article and then I worked more on the Project Inception. Then I was taken in for an Intake Interview, and it all went well I hope. I was stuck with working on the Phase 5 still so I haven’t been able to finish that, so I am disappointed that I couldn’t finish it like I hoped I would at the beginning of this week.
Today we presented our tech articles for the week and each of us went through and explained the four articles. learned about a couple different topics and will look more into the other articles that were presented. Enjoyed that a lot, need to be more prepared on the topic of the article fully and completely. Then we went into working on the ongoing project. Got stuck on the step during a part of the last step.
Today’s class started with our weekly Tech. articles . Articles were on DDR ram Handheld video game machine. Printing 3D robots which is only a baby technolgy. the last article was on GPT on a Linux OS.
I meet with Carrie about the CTP employment help after our class is finish.
The rest of my time I work on Phase 4 of Project Inception.
I finished my elective. My intake with Carrie went really good. In class today, Marc did a presentation about note taking and we had to take a practice quiz. I am visual and auditory learning. Note taking for me is something I have never been very good at so I need to improve my skills and become a better note taker. Sending positive thoughts to Mike and hoping all goes well for him tomorrow.
Today we practiced typing, and then the instructor went over looking at our accountability homework and gave some comments to a few of the classmates. Then I started to do more of my Core Portfolio Project. Then we all went through the presentation on how to take notes more easily. There are kinesthetic note takers, auditory note takers, visual, and the ones that read and write. At the end, I did more of my core portfolio and got some comments about the thirty-second elevator speech and the other slides.
Had fun in class today, me and Mike found ways to dictate notetaking in google docs. Found out the workaround to taking notes with dictation is using headphones for the speaker in zoom and enable the mic in google docs and talk about everything you see or hear them say., which is real time, I can even take more notes than the information is being delivered by talking fast.
So for me I can take notes in the order of a paragraph of explanation for every point or sentance discussed, I can even format my notes while I’m dictating them, copy paste images used in the video or screenshot things and copy paste all as part of the process of taking notes.
That’s pretty cool.
GONGRATULATIONS MIKE ON YOUR SURGURY
HAPPY FOR YOU
I have to admit that not much was done today.
My typing has improved quite a bit. That makes me proud.
I was able to submit both required assignments!!!!
I did a percipio course
I took a note taking course that I thought could have been presented better.
I learned how to record my voice on a Google Doc
I researched some office roles and posted on the skill center. I had a meeting and I added up my current hours. I worked on the slides presentation for the rest of the day.
