What I did today!

Today, Marc went over the orientation section I missed yesterday, and he easily answered some questions I had been really struggling with.

We started class by practicing typing for the first 15 minutes, then moved on to Google Docs.

For the rest of the class, we worked on a Google Docs formatting project. It was tough—I think we were all a bit lost at first! Thankfully, Mike went over the assignment and helped it all click.

Even though it was challenging, these are definitely great skills to have.

Big thanks to Marc and Mike!

What i did today

We started off the day with a login in reminder, then preceded to installing wireguard app on our computer. Which is a VPN software for connecting to the remote computer for labs. we then went on to the os ticketing system and created a ticket and displayed the work we did yesterday within the new ticket created. I will go on to learn more about how wireguard works, Because it was quite interesting and have never worked with it in the past. Very interesting day overall and learned a lot of good new info.

What I Did Today

For the first hour I researched job listing – this time for Administrative Assistant in Santa Rosa and a 25 mile perimeter.

I worked some more on the Emergency Housing project and I’m feeling confident that we’ve compiled a comprehensive list for shelters, transitional housing, etc. that extends from the SF Bay Area north to the Oregon border.

I moved on to work on the Business Outreach project. I completed making contact (first or second) with all the companies on the list. I also cleaned up the list, making sure that there’s a link to the homepage and contact page of each company. If there was an email available, I also put that link on the sheet. Will look at it tomorrow to tie up any loose ends as it’s the end of day for me.

What I did Today?

Today we practiced typing and went through an introduction on editing Google documents with different features from the main ribbon group. Then we all started to do our Google Docs formatting project on the fictitious company of Sunshine Express. I feel that this project is a good practice for me to do for creating the table of contents, adding page breaks, and adding page numbers. Finally, after doing the Google Docs formatting project, we had the instructors look over them and gave us input about our work.
