Office Assistant – Full Time – Santa Rosa, CA

Prince Accountancy Corporation, a well established CPA in Santa Rosa, is looking for a light hearted, full-time Office Assistant. Responsibilities include greeting customers, maintaining file system, handling pick-ups and drop off’s, answering and directing phone calls, generating invoices, etc. Must be comfortable working face-to-face with clients, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and be able to listen to and anticipate clients’ needs.

$25.00 an hour

Orientation: Mike asked I I wanted any of his High blood pressure meds. Cause I’m a spaz. it’s ok mike I know it. get a little lost in the navigation of the assignments and the website’s different pages. things over here other things over there. I’m ussually anally organized so will have to do turbo mode to get a system just to not get anoyed. peace and love. mostly peace cause it’s peace out right now…..bye!

What I did Today?

Today, there was an orientation for both first-time PRO and CTT students. Then we started to do typing practice with many of the typing resources we could choose, such as Monkeytype, Pro three-minute typing test, Moneymaster, etc. First-time students were told to take a screenshot of the typing test scores and paste it into the Zoom chat. Then, the first-time students were told to create their own Percipio and WordPress login accounts. The Percipio allows us to watch any of the video topics we choose and do a test at the end, and WordPress to put our blog posts about what we did today. Since I’m not a first-time student, I’ve been taking a screenshot of the accountability assignment due on Thursday on the Google calendar, sending it to the instructors, and reading and doing the accountability homework. I feel that since this is my third month, I feel there is going to be more coming my way.   

What I Did Today

For the first hour I worked on researching job postings and I focused Administrative Assistant positions on Indeed for the East Bay area of San Francisco.

For hours 2 and 3, I worked on the Emergency Housing project. My focus today was on San Joaquin and Stanislaus Counties in the Central Valley.

For hours 4 and 5, I worked on the Business Outreach project and I left off on row 53 and I will continue tomorrow from that spot.

What I Did Today

Today was a very chill day as it was orientation for new people. All I did was work on some Precipio courses, but other than that no challenges and nothing particularly fun happened, which was a little disappointing. Hopefully next time we will have a much more productive day for even the CTT course takers will have something to do.

Today was the beginning of the month orientation. Our CTT class combine with the Pro class. We had a refresher on how the programs work , and what is expected of us.

I started my Monthly self evaluation which is due Thursday..

Looking forward in learning more about how to use Google sheets.

Orientation for the new students. Marc went over the accountability assignment. Made a reminder on my calendar and sent the email. I found out how to change the time on Monkey type. Kinda of a slow class today.

Today I was reminded how stressful this class is for me! I’m on overload.

We went through orientation and all the things that are expected of me on a daily and weekly basis. I hope i remembered how to get to it. I feel stupid when i ask so many questions, although the instructors are very patient with me.

i didn’t realize how long this class is. Hopefully I can dig down deep.
