What I did Today?

Today we did a practice of video recording interviews, and then we were talking about a customer service position at Blue Shield. Next, the instructor went over writing cover letters with the template, for anyone that would be interested in the customer service position. Also, some of us were doing resumes or LinkedIn profile. Lastly, two people were teamed up to practice on being the interviewer or interviewee.

What I did today

Today was a fun day. I did my video recorded interview practice with Carrie. She gave me some good feedback. I updated my job log and put the links for my cover letter and accomadations letter. We split up into break out rooms and interviewed each other with each person taking turns. Gabi was really nice and made it really fun something I wish all interviews were liked. Carrie asked some fun icebreakers questions too.

What I Did Today

Today I practiced more on my interview questions and even helped others practice by being the interviewer for them. Outside of that, there wasn’t a whole lot going on that I had to do or work on, and not very much I had to change in my resume. Hopefully next time, I’ll find something else I can add or change in my resume or cover letter if something new comes up.

What We Did Today

What I Did Today

I continue to work on my resume. I was getting the formatting wrong. Carrie was able to help me sort out my formatting issues.

We had practice interview questions with Carrie and also we roled played a mock interview with a classmate. This will help me when i interview in the real job markey.

What I Did Today

Did typing practice, found job listings, and got a new assignment to find some job fairs. I like the feeling of tracking down job fairs way more than listings and I’m trying to figure out why. More sleuthing required maybe. Surprisingly able to work on my own today. I think it might be the dialed-in meds.
