What I did Today?

Today we all practiced typing, after that I had a check-in with the director and instructor about my goals. Later on I did a project on making a flyer for the grand opening of BerkMart. As I was doing the flyer project, I learned how to do wordart, put a background image behind the text, and learned how to adjust the image in order for the flyer to be readable. I also learned how to make the flyer to be one page instead of two pages. After finishing my flyer project I did more Percipio on time management.

What I did today

Today I started with posting the job list. Then I was working on the food bank list. For the food bank list I was updating the information on the list to make sure that the information is accurate. Next I will start to add new food banks from Southern California. For the job post, I try to find listings that are entry level and does not require too much qualifications. The challenge is to find entry level positions, but most of the positions does require to have some knowledge about the position and to have some skill set to do the work. But I will continue to search for positions that are entry level and that will be a good fit for the students to apply to.
