Today, we started off working on our typing. Next, we discussed this week’s Accountability Homework. Then, Mike and Marc discussed out assigment that we work on in class this week. The second week of the month, we work Pro Elective. Pro Elective is when we get to decide to work on anything we want. It can be challenging or something fun to do. I like this time of the month because we get to run our own agenda. I decided to do a Percipio course.
June 8, 2026
We worked on the project inception lab. I am stuck on the networking, but Jose said we will work more on that next week than we did on the Precipio benchmarks. I need to watch a few of the videos. Mostly, it was a lot, but I learned a lot.

What I did today?
Today, I was able to work on my resume. I have a new position working for SF Honda as an accounting clerk in the business office. I was able to update my resume with the current position. Lastly, I worked on interview questions. I need to work on my answers. I feel like I need to work on my interview answers weekly. This week has been very challenging, juggling my job training and class. I’m getting the hang of it. Next week, back to regular class sessions.
What I did today…
Today we trained on what’s appropriate to do in a job and what not to do. For example, not appropriate to miss meetings with your supervisor without communication. Talk to your supervisor about any problem that arises, because we want to protect our jobs. Then we had lab time, and I worked on my resume. Last hour we practiced interview questions. What do I see myself doing in 5 years? What are my strengths? I need to give some meat to my answers. Thank you, Carrie.
What I did today
Went over resume and cover letter.
