What I Did Today
– Finished setting up MicroSIP in Parallel. Works fine. Very pleased at having simply solved the problem myself. Parallel is just as good as it was pitched to me.
– Did I-9 meeting with my DOR counsellor yesterday. Excited to start the internship.

— I really like being a part of the troubleshooting and doc writing. It feels good to be a guinea pig genuinely. Good use of my infinite patience.
What I did Today?
This morning one of the instructors from the class put on some interesting mood music. I thought that it was a positive mood music. Next, I did some typing practices. I felt that practicing the numbers key would be a big step. Then I had another of the instructors go over the challenge I did yesterday. There may have been areas I needed improving I was told. Lastly, the class was doing a practice with the Micro Sip program, going through transferring calls.

WHAT i DID today WAS work ON MicroSIP. FIRST i WORKED with ONE student, DOING example CALLS, then TWO other STUDENTS; ROLEPLAYING different SENARIOS and ROTATING roles AS employee, CALLER, or MANAGER. being A new SYSTEM there WERE a FEW issues LEADING to US not TRANSFERING calls DIRECTLY to VOICEMAIL.

Today I worked on a customer service course in Percipio and on my portfolio.

For the first hour I added job listings to the CTP website, focusing on the Sacramento area, also adding a job fair. In the second hour I worked on the emergency food list for the Orange County area. In the last hour I continued on the DEI companies list.

Today we started with typing tests, per usual. For the remainder of the class we worked with our new phone system microSIP, and role played.
