Temporary (3-month), full-time, in-person public outreach position at a public health and community services agency in SF
Pay: $20/hr

Duties
Conduct face-to-face outreach and provide enrollment broker services to beneficiaries through group and individual presentations; Present managed care options to beneficiaries and help them understand and use their health care plans; Support the enrollment and disenrollment process, including assisting with medical exemptions and waiver inquiries; Enter and transmit enrollment/disenrollment data in accordance with HCO policies and procedures, and document daily activity accurately in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database; Maintain positive relationships with county staff, community groups, and HCO clients; Support ongoing training of county staff on the HCO program

Qualifications
Education: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
Related Work Experience: None
License or Certification: Valid CA driver’s license and auto insurance
Other Qualifications/Requirements: Computer literacy, ability to work with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and quickly learn new software programs; Type 20+ wpm; Strong organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; Ability to travel throughout the county and surrounding counties as needed
