This weekend, for my Percipio Skillsoft, I took the course on “Using the Google Calendar.” I have some experience using my Google Calendar for class, but I learned some basics on how to set permissions for guests, as well as enabling group scheduling such as appointment slots. The most difficult part of the training was the test and scoring at least 80%.
Today in class, we watched a video on getting customer service right at “Heritage Car Rentals.” I understood the point of the characters going above and beyond for customer satisfaction or for resolving complaints. It seemed like the main characters bickered a lot about who was more knowledgeable in the area. I personally liked George, who worked in the maintenance lot, and who performed customer service outside his normal responsibilities. That’s the type of job I’m used to doing, rather than acting as the customer service agent itself.
Finally, it was another one of those Independent Challenges covering most of the toolbar in Google Docs and Sheets. I feel like I did all right on the Docs portion, but we will review it tomorrow. I missed one question on the Forms quiz, and I was pretty confident on my answer, so I look forward to reviewing it. The google sheets portion, where we were copying the data and writing out formulas for the Spanish grades and attendance, seemed pretty easy now that I have had plenty of experience with the finer details, e.g. adding borders and fill colors using the color sampling tool.
