What I did today was listened to the instructor as she went over the s.t.a.r. method. Then I worked on my resume a little bit. Then I answered questions about jobs. I didn’t do much today. It was an easy day.

looked at a presentation on the STAR method, worked on professional documents ei Resume, Cover letter, Accommodation letter ect, and filled out self assessment.

This week, besides typing practice and Percipio, I completed and presented a slide deck for the POW section of class. I also started and mostly completed a POW sheets/docs/mail merge assignment. During employment services this week, I worked on my interview questions and my resume.

Today we continued with employment services, going over the class schedule and briefly set-up materials for the new participants in the program. We worked on our professional documents throughout class, as I focused my attention on filling out more of the interview questions, the cover letter and building up my LinkedIn profile. Working on Job Log Fixing my Resume, Interview Practice & Interactive Labs. CTT Self-assessment.

Today we reviewed the STAR method as a class, worked on interview Q and A. We reviewed working on resumes. we did interview questions.

During my shift, I focused on the accountability assignment and the Google Sheets/Mail Merge Project. I learned two spreadsheet functions that changed the lower and uppercase from the previous column to the new column. Today we started class with typing for 15 minutes, Jose explained a google slides project that we are doing today. I worked on the google sheets project. I could only make a new column and separate the names. Marc helped me with the City location and making it lower case.

We worked on the Donor List_Unfixed Google Sheet/ POW Donor Letter Project.

Today we reviewed Google Sheets and the accountability assignment from this week. We also started work on an assignment with Google Sheets and Docs using the mail merge tool to create bulk business letters from names and addresses on a spreadsheet.
