Today we watched Mike give a presentation on what browsers are and how to use them. He went over how to use a browser tab and also talked about what a browser extension is.
What I did today
I started my day with finding and sharing several job listings. I then finished calling and emailing everyone that expressed interest on the DSPS outreach spreadsheet. Then I shared a few upcoming job fairs Carrie found. I finished off the rest of the DEI outreach emails, and finally, I shared a bunch more job listings and a couple job fairs. This role involves performing general property maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, flooring, appliances, and grounds upkeep. Responsibilities also include preventative maintenance, safety inspections, emergency response, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and curb appeal. Must interact courteously with residents and coordinate with maintenance leadership. High school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of property management or maintenance experience, valid driver’s license, ability to perform general carpentry/maintenance tasks, strong organizational and customer service skills.

Today I worked on my resume, wrote an application follow-up email, left an application follow-up voicemail for Carrie, and participated in an interview practice with Josh.
What I Did Today.
Today was not so bad. We did internal 1-1 mock interviews and I was partnered with Mark. He did an excellent job and I gave him a few pieces of feedback regarding areas where he might be able to improve.
FT/PT, In-person: Host, Donato Enoteca, Redwood City, CA.
This role involves greeting and welcoming guests, managing seating and flow, handling reservations and phone orders, and communicating special requests to management. Requires a positive, guest-focused attitude, attention to detail, teamwork, and professionalism in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma preferred; restaurant experience preferred. Must be 18+ and available to work weekends.
Pay: From $20 per hour
FT/PT In-person: Butcher Clerk, Antonelli Brothers, San Francisco, CA.
This role involves customer service and meat preparation duties, including weighing, packaging, and advising on cuts of meat. Responsibilities also include maintaining attractive displays, cleaning and sanitizing work areas, stocking and rotating products, and assisting skilled workers. Requires standing for long periods, basic math, eye-hand coordination, and following sanitation and health regulations. High school diploma or GED required; customer service and teamwork skills preferred.
Pay: $20 – $25 per hour

Today in class, we worked on our professional documents, we went over interview questions as a group, and we went over them as small groups in breakout rooms. To finish off class, we worked on an assessment for the week, and we worked on what we did today

Today I finished my EMP Interview questions; however, I need more practice answering them and taking the time to gather my thoughts. Today I did EMP Interview question exercises with Daniel, and we both did amazing! Lastly, I sent follow-up emails about a simulated job offer. Have a great weekend, everyone!
