We reviewed the assignments due on Thursday and were reminded that Mock Interviews will be held on Thursday with Mechanics Bank. We completed an elective assignment. Tomorrow we will have check-ins with either Carrie or Devin.

Typing practice. I spent most of my day working on my Core Training Portfolio. Mike helped me polish this presentation.

I continued working on remote connectivity from where I stopped today. After troubleshooting and researching, I figured Windows 10 Home doesn’t allow RDP connection, so I had to spin up a new Windows 10 PRO, which is working fine except I can’t ping from my home PC. Another issue to troubleshoot tomorrow.

Today was a little less intense. This week is electives week. It’s where we work on anything listed that we want. On Thursday, we have MOCK interviews. I’m a little nervous because I haven’t interviewed very much since I was in CTP in 2023. This part of the class is not my most experienced. Although …

Today, I continued to work on the Remote Connectivity lab. I was able to install remote connectivity tools on my computer and the Windows VM. Then, I was able to successfully connect to the Windows VM from my computer using the tools.

Today I did my first PRO Elective, and I chose Company Job Research. I did it on Sonoma County Human Services Employment and Training Division. It was also my first time writing 2 emails and setting them to be delivered on Thursday. Yay me!

Salesforce CRM Intro – tested step-by-step input of data in the Trailhead navigation exercise. Excellent test of perseverance, willingness to ask questions, and dedication to completing the assignment. Today I typed. I was allowed to work on my Skillsoft Assignment because I incorrectly completed a benchmark instead of a course. I worked on my Portfolio and thought about how far I’ve actually come and where I want to go. It has been a day of reflection for me.
