What I Did Today

For my shift that I completed today, I worked on a course with Salesforce. The course taught me how to enter data into categories on a customer service database, like creating accounts for businesses, which eventually led to recording data for employees and the products that the costumer pays for. It helped me understand how different parts of a business are connected and how technology can help support the process of delivering a product while managing data, or in this case, a record of a business transaction.

What I Did Today

Today we started the professional skills and electives module for the second month this week, submitting the percipio assignment that was due today. We spent most of class time working on our big project, the core training portfolio project, a google slide presentation that all third month participants have to work on for the week. I spent most of the time formatting the text and visuals of the slideshow, and we finished class with our usual log entry into wordpress.

What I did today

After finishing and turning in my Percipio and typing practice, I chose the Google Sheets art elective to work on for this week. I managed to finish the entire assignment today, though, so I will choose another one to work on for tomorrow.

Today I sent my Percipio titled ” Getting started in Excel 365 then, I did my 15 minutes of typing. Mike introduce me to the Portfolio and what needs to be done. Mike wanted someone to show Chris how to take a proper screenshot and Nicole volunteered as tribute and she did an exceptional job.

Today we got to work with Carrie. She was great. We went over the employment services presentation. We learned about the star method. Carrie had us work on employment Interview questions and answers. We answered some of the interview questions in class and took the weekly self assessment pro.

What I Did Today

Today started off with going over some employment services documents, specifically writing a resume. I then worked on my own documents. To wrap the day up we went through some interview questions.
