What I Did Today

During my shift, I worked on and finished my elective assignment and practiced doing zoom meetings. I also looked into Percipio courses on Linux system administration. I am going to learn and practice creating a zoom meeting tomorrow, so that I can use it in the future when I need to.

What I Did Today

My typing is improving. speed is slow, but accuracy is good. I continued to work on my electives, Conquering the Challenges of Public Speaking. I passed with an 87%. The class learned how to schedule a Zoom meeting.

What I Did Today

Today we continued with our elective for the week, as I continued with the core training portfolio project slideshow. I spent most of the class time filling out more information onto the slides, as well as touching up the visual presentation of the fonts and slide backgrounds, mostly changing colors and setting up patterns.  I went with a simple design for my slides, but I think it’s very stylized and I’m happy with how they currently look.

What I Did Today

Today we did are 15 minute typing practice. I worked on a second Elective List. Mike went over some things about the virtual management accountability assignment today We were in a breakout room with Mark working on are salesforce assignment and missed him talking about it. Thank you Mike.

What I Did Today

Today I chose a Percipio elective (The Art of Staying Focused). I received a score of 88%. I read “Take a Break” Article from the New York Times. Here is an excerpt from the article: A growing body of evidence shows that taking regular breaks from mental tasks improves productivity and creativity and that skipping breaks can lead to stress and exhaustion. I tried using Coursera, but I need admin privileges. I’ll confer with Mike.

What I Did Today!

I clocked in with Homebase. I typed 30 words a minute. I’ll say it again, I typed 30 words a minute in Monkeytype. Yay. Then I worked on my Google Slides the rest of the time. All in all, today was a good day.
