What I did Today

Today worked on the project inception phase two part of the project. I struggled through getting the VM to boot up properly and got helped by Jose and learned some tips and tricks along the way. Flipping the order of the boot up was a new trick, and placing the optical file in after you create the machine. Felt like i was struggling with some of the material, not getting it to work properly. In the end I think that enough info was retained to do it without assistance next time.

What I Did Today!

Glad to get back in a lab!!!!!

We are continuing Project inception. I recheck Phase two by install a new Debian PV on the Virtual Box. This time I used differt settings. I complete this phase 2. I the start Phase three. I already complete creating a Virt-Mavhine. The next step i am going is creating a new Debian pc on it.

Will continue Tommrow.

What I Did Today

Today was very interesting and fun as I went ahead and installed Windows onto both VirtualBox and Virt-Manager. Then I worked on setting up a virtual router, which was the highlight of my day as I had many questions on how it all works since the instructions wasn’t that clear enough to explain it for me. I still need to finish it, but at this point in Project Inception, I am glad to have finished Phase 4 and be in the middle of Phase 5, so I hope to finish Phase 5 by the end of next class.

What I Did Today

I spent the first hour and a half working on job listings with my focus on Administrative Assistant positions in the Sacramento area. There were a couple that sounded promising and did not require much experience and/or the company was willing to train.

Then I spent the rest of the afternoon working on transferring the information (links) from the Emergency Food & Grocery List spreadsheet to a Google Doc titled Emergency Food and Grocery List by County. Today I left off at the beginning of Orange County, so tomorrow that is where I will pick it up again.

What I did today

Today I started off working on the job listings. Then I was working on the emergency food listings. I am currently on Southern California counties and working on Kern county. I think that most of the places for this county is finished. I will move on to another county the next time. For the job listings, I found a few interesting places to apply to that will be good for the students. They are mostly entry level positions, but they still do require some knowledge of the position. The challenge for the job listing is to find a position that does not require too much qualifications for the students and that is entry level.
