What I did Today?
Today, we started with some new students joining the class. And there was an introduction to the employment services presentation. Then we chose to do company research on Delta Dental. I found that the company was founded in 1955, employed around 2,925 employees, and that its mission is to give affordable oral health care to the community. Then, afterwards, I took the time to fix my resume, LinkedIn, and job interview questions. I started to look into Glassdoor and asked the group what was their experience with Glassdoor. They had told me that they got a bunch of texts from them that may not be real jobs. And that now made me more aware and cautious of using Glassdoor the next time I may use it. Lastly, we did an icebreaker exercise and went through everyone practicing the interview questions.

What I did today
Being prepared in case I have mock interviews on Wednesday. Researched Delta Dental and learn about their mission and their company purpose. I found it interesting how they want to provide affordable oral health care to all people from the community. I focused on working on my resume and used ChatGPT to help me write better impact statements. I learned something about my new classmates during the group interviews questions. I heard some really good answers. Nurse would be my dream job.
What I Did Today
Worked on job listing and questions and answers. Nothing too crazy, nothing exciting, nor particularly good. I guess I’m just in a poor mood but overall class was good. Hopefully next week turns out better for me.
