Well…today would have been a good day if I needed to be absent. Not much new material except mail merge. I was impressed with my typing test. 53 wpm with 100% accuracy.
I worked on my accountability homework and started on a Percipio course.
I also did an email that is required once a month.
Stared the day with the usual 15 min of typing and still not used to the new keyboard and not outputting as many wpm and with the laptop keyboard. Then we kind of left to out own devices for the better part of the first and second hour. I worked through some percipio courses in the down time, completing the 1101 CompTIA core video set. Third hour consisted of a brief explanation of mail merging and some more down time. Refined the slides project a bit.

This full-time position involves monitoring those who enter and leave the building, answering questions in person, and on the phone. You will also assist with office responsibilities, such as completing work orders. The pay range is $20.00 – $20.50 an hour. There are many benefits like a 401k. There’s even more depending on how many hours you will work.

Your task includes greeting and assisting customers, understanding their needs, offering product suggestions, and building lasting relationships, while answering phones, and handling the opening/closing of cash tills. Previous similar job experience isn’t required. The pay is $27 per hour.

We continued with our Power of Wellness slideshow, and my classmates who presented did a great job!
We start the day typing, I am made some progress in typing with all ten fingers.
I continue the POW slide project. I was informed by Mike to stop that project and start my end of course Portfilo slide project. This is what I worked on for the rest of class.
Today had me in tears. I have a hard time when i get frustrated and scared. frustrated when i don’t really know what i’m doing and scared i cannot do an assignment. On top of everything, i’m having personal issues.
Mike took me into a breakroom and we had a heart to heart.

Today I worked on my Core portfolio slides. So far it is going well, I have the week to work on it. I’m not feeling rushed or pressured, and I been on top of doing the Percipio courses, which I expect to be finished with the main courses by the end of this week.
