I watched a video by a LinkedIn expert and learned a lot about working on my page professionally. I also learned about ChatGPT and how to use it to improve my resume. Lastly, I participated with our group on a discussion about common job interview questions.

Today, I learned about what a good LinkedIn profile should look like and added many skills to my personal LinkedIn. I then polished my Resume and applied for a volunteer position with the CarbonCopy Foundation, and finished the day practicing interview questions.

What I learned today
Today I learned more about LinkedIn although LinkedIn did not work for me, even after I turned everything off and cleared the cookies. I also did my resume and more job searching. I also did the interview questions with everyone else which was fun.
What I Did Today
Today was my second day as an intern, and I kicked it off by clocking in on Homebase and sending a cheerful Good morning to everyone in our group on Telegram.
My first task of the day, which I’ll be doing every workday, is posting job listings on the CTP website. Today, I focused on entry-level Admin, Customer Service, and IT positions. I’m hopeful that these opportunities will help CTP participants take steps toward finding meaningful work.
After posting the jobs, I turned my attention to an assignment for Carrie. A business outreach project. I spent some time researching and gathering reliable email contacts, making sure to find the best email channels to reach out to the companies on the project list.
Overall, it was a productive day, and I’m excited to keep learning and contributing as the internship continues.
