What I Did Tu/W/Th

On Tuesday, I wrote my bio for the BerkMart website– I could use a more modern picture, and polish the wording but I think it’s good overall. I learned it’s very important to be logged into the BerkMart website, in order for the pages icon to show up in WordPress.

On Wednesday, we learned features that Edge has that Chrome doesn’t, like separating out the tabs, I find this useful. We practiced being CSRs for eachother selling BerkMart items, I learned it’s okay not to rush. We worked on our BerkMart flyer, and I had difficulty because I’m used to InDesign, and Slides, which have features that docs doesn’t seem to have, yet I persisted and learned the docs features.

Today (Thurs.) we finished our BerkMart flyers, and I learned it can be helpful to search the web for real flyers and how they look. Then we learned about 8 different search engine modifiers, which are very useful, not 100% perfect, but I think they do a great job of filtering things out to save time. The type by numbers activity was very helpful in learning about conditional formatting and what kind of rules you can use.

What I Did Today 2-19-2026

My typing skills have not improved this week. My average WPM score is almost exactly 32 every day. I believe my confidence in the point-of-sales exercises has improved. I’m still experiencing difficulty with Google Sheets, but I’ve been concentrating on using the related Percipio courses for the last two weeks in an effort to improve those skills.
