What I did today

I started with my usual typing practice, meeting my goal of testing in the 60s, then added a few CS job listings in the Santa Rosa area to the CTP website. I didn’t find any new entry level IT positions in the Rohnert Park area. In hours two and three I worked on the workstation project, documenting some problems and solutions from the last couple weeks. Continued researching on the locked iso issue with Virt Manager. No solution yet.

What I Did Today

Today, I continued researching job listings and was able to find several strong opportunities that could be a great fit for our participants. I focused on identifying entry-level roles and made sure to prioritize positions that offer a clear path for growth. Be sure to check out the latest postings on the website to see if any align with your interests or career goals.

I also began working on outreach for the 2026 project, sending out as many emails as possible to help build connections and support CTP’s goals for the year. This process involves researching the right contacts and making sure our messaging is targeted and effective.

I truly enjoy being part of the Computer Technology Program and contributing to the work we’re doing. As an intern, I’m committed to continuing to improve my efforts and support the program in any way I can.

What I did Today

My weekly check-in with Carrie is tomorrow but she gave me another email list to work on. I got to number 29 on the list for B Corps and I will work on the rest tomorrow being emails are important. Some contacts had emails while others I had to fill out the contact page on their website. I remembered to use my intern email instead of my personal one which I did the other day but I caught my mistake and fixed it. Filling out the contact pages took some time so I did not get as far as I could have on the list. For the message field, I copied and pasted from the template making it easier. Today was another productive day and I feel like I worked hard. I probably have to keep working on the email project so it be a while before I get a new project. I hope I am doing a good job with the emails and finding job listings. I also hope the job listings I find are helping out people in the program.
