What I Did Today

This week I participated in Mock Interviews. They were informative and good training. I practiced typing as usual. I worked on POW Scheduling most of the week. I finished the week with POS training. I also met with Carrie to discuss my Career Goals.

What I Did This Week

This week, we practiced scheduling and sales for Power of Wellness (on three days), which includes confirmation emails and reminder emails. On Tuesday during lab time, I looked into volunteer opportunities. On Wednesday, we had mock interviews with Mechanics Bank and they went well. The more I practice sales scenarios and interviewing, the easier it gets. For Power of Wellness sales, sometimes it can be a lot to remember, with the various documents and websites, but I got faster each time.

What I did Today

I found two customer service jobs near Santa Rosa and I was able to find another IT job near Rohnert Park. I had my check in with Carrie and she told me I was doing a good job and they really appreciate everything that I am doing. It is always nice to hear that I am doing a good job and makes feel more confident. I finished sending out the emails on the B corp list. One of the companies, their website was not working and the email came back so I tried their linkedin but that was no longer available so I left a message on their voicemail. I hope it sounds good and I made sense. Even though we practiced leaving voice mails in Bootcamp, I am still not confident and know I need to work that. I am going to do my best tomorrow and motivated myself being it is Friday. I am half way through my internship which does not feel real being I am learning so much from this experience.
