What I Did Today

Today we started the third week for Power of Wellness, going over the module the Power of Wellness Point of Sales Training and Customer Service. We spent the majority of class time going over the Power of wellness employee handbook and the customer/employee scenarios we will be reenacting during the week, as well as getting access to the google sheets needed for the assignments and exercises. A few other participants volunteered first in the membership registration exercise while time ran out before everyone got a turn. We wrapped up for the day overviewing the accountability assignment, which has different participants scheduled for different times to send reminder emails to those they worked with.

What I Did Today

Today, I got started on this week’s lab about drive imaging. I started off the pre-lab by summarizing the lab itself and continued on to the questions.

For the next hour, I took a couple of skill benchmark assessments on Percipio, involving CompTIA A+ Core 1 Literacy and Emotional Intelligence & Tact. I got good scores on both benchmarks but with some room for improvement.

For the final hour, I wrapped up the questions segment for the pre-lab and got started on the terminology part.

What I did today

After typing practice and turning in my Percipio for the week, I listened to the instructions for this week’s class assignment of scheduling and confirming POW appointments on Sheets and email. I also took turns being an employee and customer playing out those scenarios.

What I Did This Week

This week, I worked on my projects for Elective week and completed my first part of the course for Salesforce. On employment services day, I talked about my self and what I did not like at my previous work and what I like about my current one. I also learned about art museums in the bay area and did a company research project.
