What I Did Today

Today I completed the POW Donor Letter Project. I organized the donor spreadsheet by splitting first and last names and correcting city formatting. Then I used a Mail Merge extension in Google Docs to generate personalized letters for each donor. I also created and added a professional signature to finalize the document.

What I Did Today

Today, I started my work with job posting, which is something I really enjoy. I like being able to help people by researching and finding job opportunities for the participants at CTP. It feels good knowing that the work I’m doing can make a difference.

I also finished the emails for my Outreach project today, which felt like a big accomplishment. It’s always a great feeling to wrap up a project and know you’ve completed it.

Now I’ve moved on to a new project focused on researching CRA Officers, including finding emails, LinkedIn profiles, and other helpful contact information. I’m excited to take on something new and continue building my skills.

Every day at CTP gives me the chance to learn and grow, and it’s amazing to look back and see how far I’ve come. I’m really grateful for the opportunities and support here. It was another great and productive day!

What I did Today

I made a few changes to the mock interview presentation and finally finished it. I am so proud of myself for working and hard it when it was not easy. That was my first google slides presentation since I graduated training back in July so I had to remember what I learned. I forget how to change the text color so I googled but then I remembered how you do that. I am always proud of myself for staying calm during my phone interview yesterday while at was Kaiser. I was very nervous with everything happening but it did not let it show in my voice. I only heard from her a few months ago when she messaged me on Indeed so I thought they might have forgotten about me. I was not expecting her to call for a quick interview. She told me she had to pass my resume to someone else and let me know. All those mock interviews and practice interview helped me be prepared in any situation even a last minute interview. Tomorrow, I have my weekly check-in with Carrie and she will give me a new assignment. Looking forward to working on something new.
