What I Did Today

Today was a really productive day. I shared new job listings for IT Help Desk, Administrative Assistant, and Customer Service Representative roles, focusing on opportunities that are accessible and a good match for our participants.

I also spent time diving into peer-to-peer fundraising, especially with CTP’s 50th anniversary on the horizon. The more I researched, the more I realized how powerful this approach can be—not just for raising funds, but for bringing people together around a shared purpose. There are so many creative possibilities to engage supporters and expand our impact.

I’m excited about how these efforts—both job development and fundraising help sustain the important programs CTP provides for those we serve.

What I did Today

I posted my three job listings for today and then I looked for more while I waited for my check-in. I had my check-in with Carrie and she gave me a new project. I have to go on social media sites like Facebook, Instagram or Linkedin and find posts to reshare. I send the link to the telegram chat for them to review. I use social media pretty often and I am comfortable with it so I no worries there. I just have to posts that meet certain things and do not include any controversial. It took some time but I was able to send four links to the chat. I used Chatgpt to help me write a linkedin post to find graduates of CTP. I made a post reaching out to graduates who would like to share their stories and what they are doing now. I am not sure but I hope some grads message me back. I hope the links that I found are good since I started this project and I am not quite sure of what I am doing yet. I will learn over time and get better at it. I am glad to be working on a new project and also helps me develop my research skills.
