What I did today

In the first hour I did my 15 minutes of typing, and then met with Jose. In hours two and three I worked on the linux workstation project, cleaning up my documentation, and fixed a minor hiccup. Did a little research on the VirtualBox configuration problem on some of the Vhosts.

What I Did Today

Today marks my final day as an intern with CTP, and it’s hard to put into words just how meaningful this experience has been for me.

Through my internship at CTP, I developed new skills, gained hands-on experience, and felt supported every step of the way. It’s an experience I truly value.

From the very beginning, I was welcomed into an environment that values growth, learning, and community. Throughout my time here, I’ve had the opportunity to build real-world skills, take on meaningful responsibilities, and gain a deeper understanding of the work that goes into supporting and empowering others. Every task, whether it was researching, creating content, or contributing to outreach efforts, helped me grow both professionally and personally.

What stands out most to me is the support I received along the way. The team at CTP has been patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in my success. They took the time to guide me, answer my questions, and challenge me to step outside of my comfort zone. Because of that, I’m leaving this internship with more confidence in myself and a clearer vision of my future.

I’m incredibly grateful for everything I’ve learned and for the opportunity to be part of such meaningful work. This experience has not only strengthened my skills but also reinforced the importance of making a positive impact.

Thank you to everyone at CTP for your support, guidance, and encouragement. I will carry everything I’ve learned here with me moving forward, and I’m truly appreciative of the impact this experience has had on me.

What I did Today

Not going to lie, it was hard to get started this morning but I pushed through and did not let that stand in my way of getting my work done. I got an early start and sent my good morning message and posted my first job listing. I posted Devin repost of a job listing from Linkedin on the CTP site. It was hard to find an administrative assistant job being most of them wanted 3 or 4 years experience. I decide to split my time and not just do one thing so I send an hour looking for job fairs and then next hour or so of my day working on the social media project. I was trying to find things on other sites and not use the same ones all the time. I found some posts on Facebook. Shared the link for an online event with AAPD. I was able to get quite a lot done today and I am proud of myself for staying motivated.
