Today I continued typing practice. I had my check-in monthly meeting where I learned various strategies for how to find a company that aligns with my values, like checking Glassdoor and networking strategies. We learned how to set up a Zoom meeting, and we all joined eachother’s zoom meetings that we created ourselves. I also did some more reading on how to answer interview questions.

I typed on MonKey Type and took a screenshot . Then I shared it with the Chat.

I started working on a google sheet Assignment in elective-assignments.

I had an interview with Devin and Carrie

We learned how to invite others as a host via Zoom Meeting, and we all did it individually.

Checked in with Carrie and Devin about my progress through CTT. Worked on a lab where we researched and set aside parts as if we were building out our own PCs. Also had a 1-1 with Jose to go over my CTT portfolio project.

In the first hour, I did 15 minutes of typing practice using monkeytype, logging my results in my spreadsheet. At the beginning of the second hour, I met with Carrie to discuss the new project researching externships for CTT graduates. I worked on that for the rest of the day.

Today, I worked on my Remote Connectivity Lab, where I learned that running multiple remote connections simultaneously can cause performance and connectivity issues. I also completed detailed documentation for the lab.

Today I learned how to use google chrome desktop controller and I also did the no machine one. I still can’t seem to get a hang of the tight vnc even after Jose explained it. I do like no machine and any desktop the most out of all the options and I’m excited to learn about the build your pc tomorow.

I spent around 15 minutes on typing.

Then our instructor assigned us to work on our elective practice.

I made some slides and shared them with him . However, the slides need to be made some alterations and resent.

I did typing practice at the beginning and end of class, and improved. Today I think I completed my elective: Google Suite Practice, and learned lots of features, and it improved my speed with G-Suite. Then I fixed my flights spreadsheet and added the names, which I forgot to do before. The accountability assignment for this week has been clarified, I will only do the one for BerkMart this week.

Today, we continued to work on our Remote Connectivity lab. I feel much more comfortable with the concepts to be learned, and I could even explain them to someone else if I wanted. This was what we did for the entire day, which is good because I really do enjoy lab time.

After we opened the day with typing practice, I spent the rest of the day working on the elective exercise (Party Celebration spreadsheet) due Thursday.
