Service Desk Analyst CAI Remote Full-Time

We are seeking a bilingual, customer-focused Service Desk Analyst to provide Level 1 technical support to associates and vendors. In this full-time remote role, you will assist users via phone, email, and chat, resolving technical issues efficiently while delivering excellent customer service.

  • Provide first-level IT support (password resets, hardware/software troubleshooting, “how-to” assistance)
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues or escalate when necessary
  • Accurately document, categorize, and close support tickets
  • Prioritize requests based on urgency and impact
  • Maintain strong customer communication and exceed service expectations
  • Follow established processes and suggest improvements
  • Meet individual and team performance metrics

Requirements:

  • 6–12 months of Service Desk or technical support experience
  • 6–12 months of customer service experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
  • Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset
  • Availability to work weekdays, 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM EST

Preferred:

  • Associate degree in a related field

What I Did Today

Today I viewed my mock interview with Carrie from last week. I discussed what improvements I can make in my interview skills. I also practiced sending a follow-up both by email and voicemail, after I submitted an application. I also played a Jeopardy game based on interview questions.

What I Did Today

Today, we watched the interview videos we recorded last time, then we shared one thing we liked about our own interview performance, and two opportunities to improve upon. We then watched a Toastmaster’s video. I was impressed, I think it’s a really cool organization, and I might consider joining. We then talked about application follow-up and how important it is. We practiced writing application follow-up notes and voicemails. During the documents lab, I started a new cover letter template, and I made sure all my job log documents are current. We then played interview Jeopardy.

What I did Today

I found and posted four job listings. I checked Linkedin and still no responses from any grads of the program but I will keep doing my best. Today was my first time using Mastadon and Bluesky which I have never heard before. I was able to find something on Mastadon. When I searched the keyword disabled, a lot of the posts were people asking for money. The keyword inclusion gave me better results but still I had to look for ones that were not asking for donations or getting too political. I asked in the chat if Youtube would be okay so I searched Youtube for videos about disabilities. I found two really good videos. The first one was about disabled artists from Oakland and the second was a sweet story about a family adopting a child from China who has down syndrome. Other videos were good but they had negative language which would not suitable for some of the CTP participants. I found an event on Facebook but it is in Vacaville which does not work for all lot of people in the program. I was going to post job fairs for people with disabilities but I did not want to offend anyone in the program. This internship is teaching valuable real life experience and I am taking in everything I learn. Happy that today is Friday and looking forward to the weekend.
