We learned about the standing assignments that are due weekly and daily, like posting this ‘What I did today’ and the Tech articles. We posted the standing assignments in our calendar and made notifications so as to hold us accountable for our actions and work. In lab, we did a desktop software setup to connect to outside computers. Finally, we got introduced to the ticketing system which will help us when we get to work to help us take notes, fix problems, and show our work

I started by clocking in on Homebase. Then I set up the VPN using WireGuard and tried out Remote Desktop Client. Also, I learned how to create a ticket, update the ticket, and add images to the ticket. I ended the day by clocking out of Homebase.

Today, we worked on the Monthly Email for Returning Participants. This is the time for evaluations on how we are doing. Marc explained that it is due on Thursday, along with the Accountability homework. Marc asked if we had anything that we needed any assistance with. I was able to get help on scheduling an email send-out. I tried several times myself, and it didn’t work. Now I know how to do it. I also noticed that if you have it on a schedule and didn’t complete the email, then I’m not able to edit it. He also explained the Accountability assignment that’s due on Thursday.

It’s June 1, so we have new students joining CORE. We did the orientation. We reviewed GMAIL. I was finally able to get a professional email address! We also reviewed how to set up scheduling an email to go out in the future.

Today I listened to CTT/PRO Orientation, then I took a break, then I learned how to create a new profile and add a bookmark to this profile, after that I logged in to Homebase and Slack

Started by clocking in at HomeBase. Then, welcoming the new people to the CTP, went over the program and all that. Then we went over Gmail. Went over the Core Monthly email for the Returning Participants assignment. then closed out the day by doing the “what I did today” posts and clocking out of HomeBase.

We had orientation. I learned how to set up a new Chrome profile. Got to know a new extension on Google, which was Bitwarden, the password saver. Logged onto Homebase for the first time.

Today we listened to the Core/CTT orientations, we took a quick 8-question form/quiz and then we had our first break. Then we reviewed how to make a chrome profile, created some bookmarks, saved a bunch of credentials. I created accounts for Slack, Homebase, and WordPress. Busy day!

Today I attended a training course on Sexual Harassment and Abusive Conduct. I received a certificate of completion. I also worked on my interview questions.
