I kicked off my day by finding and sharing job openings for those in the SJS program, supporting their path to gainful employment. Spent the full shift researching colleges and universities and documenting their DSPS programs in the spreadsheet. Successfully completed coverage for Contra Costa and San Francisco counties.
Some of the things I did today included working on my job log and participating in a group question-and-answer session.
Today I worked on my Job log and did interview questions. Friday was a challenging day for me; however, I worked through it. Appreciate everyone who’s in this class for providing answers to the interview questions that I can use for next Friday.
Today I practiced interview questions, both verbally and on Google Docs. Additionally, additonaly I polished my LinkedIn profile to give a better, sharper, more employable vision of myself.
I’ll admit I didn’t do a ton today. I worked on my interview Q&A, worked on my typing skills and looked for articles to share with the CTT team for next week.
Other than this we answered question prompted us by Carrie and did interview practice. I’m really struggling to make the most of my Fridays at the moment, largely due to the fact that I work on these items outside of class time anyway and am not in a position to apply to real opportunities just yet. That said, I do appreciate Carrie’s help and support.
Today in class, we worked on our professional documents, and after that, we read over our interview questions. To finish class, we worked on our wrap-up and our “What I did today”.
Today I filled out the interview questions to the best of my ability. Then I was asked those questions. I got excellent feed back and refilled out some of the questions.
