What I Did Today

Today we had mock interviews with AAA. Both interviewers gave me positive feedback only, but it was very specific and very helpful to keep in mind. I feel that I keep benefiting from all this wonderful practice– it just keeps getting easier each time. I did a good job of going completely off-script and making it a human interaction, rather than reading off my screen.

What I Did Today

Today was a productive day in my internship. I worked on posting job opportunities to support CTP participants and continued developing my outreach emails to connect with employers. I also had my AWEX check-in with Carrie, where we discussed my progress with email outreach—everything is going well, and I’m gaining confidence in the process. I truly enjoy being part of the CTP team and feel great about how much I accomplished today.




What I did Today

I found and posted more job listings for the first hour after sending a message to the chat and clocking into Homebase. I had my check-in with Carrie and she gave me my first assignment. I am so excited to be working on my first project or assignment for my internship and I hope I do a good job. My first project is to make a slide presentation for SJS participants to explain why mock interviews are important. Copy and paste some prompts Carrie gave me to use on the slides. Choosing a template was sort of hard being I wanted to find one that is fun energetic. Deciding which slides to use was not an easy task either and took some time. Used what I learned in training to help me with the slide presentation. I am a little rusty and had to remember what I learned being it has been since July. Remembering things took some time too but once I figured it out I was able to start the slides. I feel a little rush but I know I take my time as long as finish this by tomorrow or Friday. A lot left to do so I am worried but I will do my best.
