What I Did Today.

We began the lesson by discussing how scientists are researching ways to use the mosquito proboscis in the development of printer parts.

We, as a class, then went over the Skillsoft weekly requirements and strategies for tackling the number of course module hours required each week, and then returned to discussing what is expected of the weekly tech article presentations.

Following this Jose gave an in-depth explanation of the email we should be sending each week that summarizes our Skillsoft progress.

We all then jumped into lab and I am *really* enjoying these lab exercises.

TL:DR – Debian installed via VMM. Ubuntu also installed via VMM. Ran into a couple technical issues that I was able to resolve with Jose’s help but otherwise another successful day with CTT.

What I Did Today

Today, we started with the 15-minute typing practice. I worked on finishing my Cover Letter Assignment. I made some changes to it with the help of Marc and Mike. We also did the Girl Scout Cookies Sheet Assignment in class. I enjoy working with Google Sheets to get more experience with formulas.

What I Did Today

Today I started class by logging into Homebase and listening to Jose go over Skillsoft courses and computer hardware/construction.

We then pivoted to our first lab activity: Project Inception.

I spent the rest of my time in class revisiting the Remote Desktop Protocol, spinning up virtual machines in VirtualBox, loading up ISOs, and installing new, smaller operating systems into my own partitioned machine. Also got more accustomed to drafting up tickets in osTicket.

Very pleased with my progress in CTT today.

What I Did Today

Today, I learned how to update tickets and add pictures to customers’ tickets. Another thing I learned is that my work group can see eternal notes that can help the company perform better. Lastly, I re-learned how to connect to a virtual computer using a Remote Desktop Connection.
