I typed for 15 minutes in the classroom.
We started our week with an introduction to Core Training, and everybody got oriented to the main goal of the CTP skill program. The instructors emphasized the importance of the attendance policy.
I worked on a formatting project that could help me improve my Google Docs skills.
I also acquired more skills regarding types of editing.
We had a fun assignment today. Girl Scout Cookies reconciled me with Google Sheets! I am very happy about that.
Today we listened to Jasper and Jose’s tech article. We discussed things we do to protect ourselves online like keeping social media posts general and avoiding posting locations so we don’t fall victim to things like theft or kidnapping. We also discussed the Rayban Meta glasses and how people are unaware that what is captured is being viewed by screeners abroad. Although there’s benefits like capturing something for a social media post, it has also captured private moments like people changing clothes and nudity. We learned how to schedule our tech articles to post automatically at a specific day and time.
Today I introduced myself to the class. I looked at tech articles to post next week. Then I continued to work on project inception.
Today I presented my tech topic. It was good to inform people about what’s happening. Then I worked on the girl scouts cookies spreadsheet and learned how to multiply without a calculator.
Today I received breakout room assistance for my difficulties with inserting table of contents on Google Docs, and I finished working on the “Fix These Letters” assignment.
Today I started working on project inception, which involves connecting to CTT network via VPN and using RDP to connect to my assigned workstation. I was also able to create a virtual machine. Next steps will continue tomorrow.
Today I updated my “print screen” skills and posted my typing scores to “Chat”. I also worked on an editing and proofreading assignment. I am getting better with my blogging skills.
Today I set up Wireguard and the remote desktop on my computer. I learned how to use the ticketing system and explored around the assigned remote desktop.
Today I worked on my portfolio all day. I also was finally able to work on my linkdin as well. Tomorrow I will send in my skillsoft to Jose.
Today I had a meeting with Carrie, and she helped me with my accommodation letters. We spent most of the class working on the “fix these letters” assignment. I figured out how to use Grammarly.
