What I did Today

I am very proud of myself for getting to 211 on the email list and what I accomplished today. I started at 166 and made it to 210 which means that I send out 44 emails in one day. It might not seem like a lot but to me I feel good about sending that many out. Some emails came back or I had to use the contact form so that made it take a little longer otherwise I would have done more emails. I have my weekly check in with Carrie on Wednesday and I can update her on my progress with the email project. I know I will be working on this project for a few more days being it is important to CTP and finding business to do mock interviews with. I also was able to find two more IT jobs near Rohnert Park which I hope helps out who needs it. Overall it was a very successful work day and I hope to many days like this during my internship. It feels really good.

What I Did Today

Today we watched a video about LinkedIn, and discussed how to improve our LinkedIn profiles. I then got some good feedback on my resume and made some small changes to it. I made some changes to my LinkedIn as well. Then we had interview question practice, which always gets easier with time.

What I Did Today

Today at CTP, I spent time continuing my search for job listings for our participants. I found a few solid opportunities that I think could be a good fit, especially for those looking to get their foot in the door and build experience. I’m hoping some of these leads turn into real opportunities for people in the program.

I also kept working on the DEI email outreach project. I made good progress on building out the contact list and getting everything organized. It took some extra research, but it’s coming together well. I was able to get through most of it and plan to finish the rest on Monday.

Overall, it was a productive day. I feel good about the progress I made, and I’m looking forward to wrapping up the email list and continuing outreach next week.
