What I did today

I attended my monthly check-in. I feel that this check-in was more positive than the last one.

I did work on my Core Portfolio. I tried to jazz it up with pictures in the background.

We worked on setting up our Zoom account. Then scheduled a zoom meeting amongst my fellow students.

What I did today?

Thankfully it was another elective day, so I continued to work on Salesforce CRM online learning through the Trailhead. Yesterday and today I made quite a bit of progress on a number of different trails. I completed Quick Start: Prompt Builder, Quick Start: Create a Prompt Builder Flex Template, and Quick Start: Create a Sales E-mail prompt template. I had completed these by the first hour of class.

For the second hour of class, I had reached the Superbadge for this segment on Prompt Builder templates. It required a special hands-on org with data representing Tranquil Trails, a fictitious company using the salesforce platform. After about 30 minutes, I finally received my credentials and spent the duration of the class working on the first two modules in this Superbadge.

And, it was a struggle until the very end. The issue seems to be that I only have a few experiences setting up a “Flow” and the options and input sources are sometimes hard to nail down in the correct manner to satisfy the Trailhead challenge. The specific challenge was to update a “Fitness” survey result from our “Contacts” in the case it was written in any language other than English, to have the AI automatically translate the text into English when the fitness record is saved. It took me over twenty attempts to complete 50% of the Superbadge today, but I feel like I am getting the hang of some of these Salesforce tools.
