What I Did Today

During my shift, I focused on the accountability assignment and the Google Sheets/Mail Merge Project. I learned two spreadsheet functions that changed the lower and uppercase from the previous column to the new column. I also learned how to mail merge, which involved arranging the data into a letter, repeating the letter for each person that the letter would be given to.

Today I spoke with Carrie in Employee Services, who helped me to figure out my accommodation needs. Carrie is the perfect person for this position. Very kind and empathetic. We worked with Jose, Mike, and Marc on POW Mail Merge – Google Docs. Completed the assignment!

What I Did Today

Today, we started with our weekly tech articles. Mine was on Microsoft introducing AI Agents to their Office Programs. We had a bit of a chat regarding how AI is getting a little ridiculous in how it trivializes coding, formatting, and more.

For the next two hours, we discussed a Google Sheets Project that used Mail Merge after formatting it.

I thought it was a very interesting Lab. The way to use formulas and mail merge with a Google Doc to make a mass mailing list simple to make and format was very fun to me.
