What I Did Today

Today, I started off with some typing practice. After warming up, we went over our independent challenge. I noticed a mistake I had made when it came to bolding the colors in a particular paragraph. Instead of bolding the color names, I had changed the color of the words to match the colors they described. While reviewing the challenge, I also learned how to trim down Google Sheets to remove clutter and make it look more streamlined.

The rest of the evening was spent working with the phones, starting with a note-taking exercise. During this exercise, I learned how to use voice-to-text in Google Docs. To wrap up the day, we set up our voicemails and left a message on a partner’s voicemail about calling in sick.

What I Did Today

Today, I started the class with typing. I then worked on review with my co-workers on the Individual Challenge that we submitted yesterday. We spent the last part of class working on creating a unavailable voice message and leaving a message with one of my co-workers.

What I Did Today

Today we started with are 15-minute typing practice. We went over our individual Independent Challenge testing with Jose. I learned some new helpful tips in all areas, but I am still working on Google Sheets and memorizing formulas.

Jose also gave us 2 websites to practice Google Sheets, along with formulas to practice quizzes. Lastly, everyone used a BerkMark Phone Script and learned how to leave an (I’m Unavailable) message as a BerkMark employee. We then followed up with learning to leave a professional Call-Off sick message.

What I did today

After typing practice, I finished making up my independent challenge from yesterday, and we reviewed them in class. We also did an exercise on taking voicemail messages, leaving messages, and recording a professional voicemail inbox message.

What I Did Today

Today, we started the day off with some typing practice. My typing has gotten a bit faster so I decided to challenge myself a bit with using some punctuation. It seems to be a bit more challenging when typing off of a script as opposed to writing something out from my head. After typing, we moved on to working with the phone scripts. Once finishing with the three scenarios with Babette, we began the individual challenge. I enjoy working with the sheets and putting in the correct formulas. I’ve noticed I’m getting faster at putting information in, as well as formatting the sheet itself.
